About Me
I
began hand quilting 32 years ago when my girls were babies. My best
friend and I would sit at the quilting frame for hours while the kids
played beneath our feet. As the girls grew older, the time for
quilting grew shorter. It became apparent that hand quilting was not
feasible. I tried using my domestic machine for quilting, but found
trying to move that much fabric in that small space, was just not
working. A few years later my friend bought an APQS and taught me to
quilt. One thing led to another, and before long I purchased my own
APQS Millennium. I have been long arm quilting for 10 years. I am
not happy if there’s not a quilt on my frame. Quilting is my
passion.
I live in Xenia Ohio with my husband, Joe, Rosie the Standard Poodle and Maggie the Bichon. My other interests include playing Oboe and English Horn, biking, and photography.
