Spent a wonderful week at Norris Lake and also got to work on Chelsey's wedding quilt. Just 2 more sections to go. They are huge sections, but at least the end is in sight. This is a paper pieced pattern by Judy Neimeyer. It's huge, 90 x 90 .... The pattern is called Cactus Rose. I can't wait to get to the part when I get to start assembling blocks.

I spent most of the afternoon working on a quilted jacket. I finished quilting it and decided to put it together with my serger. I ran into a snag and had to frog. I'm hoping I didn't ruin it ! The sleeve is a little wacky.... I'll post pictures when it's finished. Wish me luck !
Oh man, I can't believe it's been 6 months since I've posted anything on my blog... How did that happen? Well, I'm now going to make a mid year resolution to blog at least 3 times a week.
Today, was hard. My best friends sister passed away and today was her memorial service. The memorial was really wonderful, but it was so hard watching my best friend hurting. Her sister was an amazing person and will be missed by everyone.
