Prices

 

I charge by the square inch. To find the price for the quilting, measure your quilt's length and width in inches and follow this calculation:

Length X Width X Rate.

Example: 60 x 70 x .025 = $105

Strings of Fall (Large)

All over design: .025 per sq. inch – I enjoy creating my own free motion, edge to edge designs. My designs are unique and done with your quilt in mind.

Semi Custom - .03 per sq inch

Boarders are quilted differently than the body of the quilt, there maybe some special quilting in the blocks themselves and / or stitch in the ditch.)

($50 Minimum)

Custom Quilting - starting at .035 per sq inch,  please email to discussFeathers, fancy motifs in each block, stitch in the ditch, etc.

Thread: Thread is included in the price of the quilting. Extra charges may apply with specialty threads used on the backing

Binding - Full Binding - $.25 per perimeter inch ($50 minimum)

I will prepare a straight of grain binding, with mitered corners, from fabric you provide. It will be machine stitched to the right side of the quilt, turned and hand stitched to the back. Please provide 1 yard of fabric.

(Sample pricing: Your quilt measures 60 x 70 = 60+60+70+70= 260 inches x .25 = $65.00) 

 

Half Binding - $.15 per perimeter inch ($30 minimum)

I will prepare a straight of grain binding, with mitered corners, from fabric you provide. It will be machine stitched to the right side of the quilt. You will turn and hand stitch to the back. Please provide 1 yard of fabric.

Preparation 

Ironing backing fabric - $20

If your quilt backing arrives wrinkled, I will need to iron it before I can put it on the quilting frame.  

Sew and press backing - $35

If you would like me to prepare your backing, with fabric you send along, the fee is $35.  I will piece and press the backing. 

 

Batting 

I will supply batting upon request. Please call or email me to discuss your needs.
